Course aim:

This course is for candidates who already hold a valid, current First Aid at Work Certificate (FAW).   The course will cover the following topics: Role of the First Aider in the Workplace, Basic Hygiene, Assess the Situation, First Aid for the Unconscious Casualty, Seizures, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, Bleeding and Shock, Choking and Minor Injuries. On completion, candidates should be competent in emergency first aid procedures.

DAY RELEASE & EVENING

Start Date: Various from September until June   

Duration: 2 x 6 hour session or 4 x 3 hour sessions  

Day: Day Release: Variable, Evenings: Tuesday for 4 consecutive weeks          

Time: Day Release: 9.00am - 4.00pm, Evening: 6.00pm - 9.00pm
