Thomas Johnstone Ltd

 Thomas Johnstone

"At Thomas Johnstone Ltd, it is one of our core values to provide "continuous improvement" which includes ensuring that our operatives are fully trained in their respective disciplines. On this occasion our Electrical Supervisors and I attended the City & Guilds 2382-10 course on the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2008) and found it to be an extremely informative and comprehensive course. Thus enabling us to continue to provide the best service and solutions for our clients and to keep us at the top of our game.

I found that the course provided an excellent open forum to discuss the practical application of the regulations with an extremely knowledgeable lecturer consistently referring to relevant practical understandable examples."

"We currently have our first group of employees working towards the ECDL qualification. This is a real benefit to both the organisation and the individuals involved as it helps to increase their general PC skills as well as building their overall confidence. The ECDL teaches people 'real' skills that they can take back to their day-to-day job including e-mailing and the interpretation of data on Excel. The work based training format delivered by Reid Kerr, provides a safe and non-threatening environment for all staff.  I would recommend this course to anyone with a genuine interest in improving their overall PC skills."
