SVQ Information
The college is a key provider of VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING in Scotland. Our employer led training programmes have won National Training Awards and Modern Apprenticeship Awards showcasing best practice.
Scottish/National Vocational Qualifications
Nationally recognised Scottish/National Vocational Qualifications - SVQs and NVQs - offer a flexible approach to work-based training.
You may already have existing training programmes in your company. Vocational Qualifications help structure this training to meet standards developed by your particular industry. The qualifications are competence based and give credit for past experience and knowledge, and are an excellent tool for developing those in employment.
The level of the qualifications range from those aimed at the new entrant to those for senior managers and above.
