PDA Classroom Assistant: Classroom Assistant Qualification
The aim of this course is to facilitate the development of skills and knowledge of staff assisting the teacher in the classroom and other areas of the school. The course will also equip the successful candidates with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to support the class teacher and enable them to take up positions in Primary School settings.
The group award consists of:
Child Development, Child Protection, Promoting Positive Behaviour, Supporting the Class Teacher, Support the Wellbeing of Pupils, IT, Communication, Numeracy, Effective Organisation of Resources, Work Placement.
