ILA Scotland is a Scottish Executive scheme, which helps you pay for learning for Part time study. If you are 16 or over and earn £22,000 or less, you could receive £200 towards your chosen course - for further information, please contact ILA Scotland on 0808 100 1090

How to claim your ILA (Individual Learning Account) Funding for part-time study:
- Check the availability of the course with the Admissions Unit on 0800 052 7343 or apply online at http://www.reidkerr.ac.uk/
- ILA Applications can be requested Online at http://www.ilascotland.org.uk/ or by calling 0808 100 1090

- Request an ILA Application Form - Online at http://www.ilascotland.org.uk/ or by calling 0808 100 1090
- Complete the Application Form and return to ILA with required proof of income -Assessment can take up to 4 weeks - depending on the time of year
- On receipt of your ILA Account Number advise the Admissions Unit of your Account Number - this can be done by telephone or in person
- ILA will not accept your Account Number after the start date of the course, ILA course bookings will be closed
- We will then book your course via the ILA website. This will prompt ILA to send you a Learning Voucher, which once processed will help pay for your course.
- Present the ILA Voucher to the Admissions Unit (Please note you must present your ILA Voucher to the College within 60 days from the start date of the course or the ILA Voucher will not longer be valid)
Part Time Fee Grant
This scheme provides up to £500 a year towards the cost of tuition fees.
HOW DO I APPLY
You can download part-time fee grant and DSA application forms from our website (www.saas.gov.uk) . For the part-time fee grant you must apply within 1 month of your course starting.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for financial support you must meet our residence conditions and be on a course we support.
Generally, to qualify for support you must be:
Ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands for 3 years immediately before the first day of the first academic year of the course;
Settled in the UK as described in the Immigration Act 1971;
Ordinarily resident in Scotland on the first day of the first academic year of the course.
be earning £22,000 or less per year.
be studying part-time with a minimum of 40 SCQF credits
be studying a course at Scottish Qualifications Framework Level 7-11.
e.g. Higher Education qualifications such as HNC/HND, degrees, PG diplomas. It can also include Professional Development Awards and Continuous Professional Development courses.
- be in Scotland undertaking a course.
- not be receiving funding from any other Government learning or training schemes.
