Discover IT Paisley
Discover IT Paisley is an innovative and exciting programme that enables disabled people to have access to computers to develop their skills and interests. Developed by Leonard Cheshire in partnership with Microsoft UK, the intention is to create a network of Discover IT facilities across the UK and develop a national programme that really makes a difference to the lives of disabled people.
Situated within the first floor Atrium of the Renfrew North Building of the Main Campus, The Discover IT Centre has the necessary adaptations to make computers fully accessible for all users regardless of ability.
Discover IT can open up the worlds of computing, word processing, email, the web, home shopping and much more to disabled people who are eager to learn but have simply not had the chance to get to grips with computers before.
