Discover IT Paisley

Discover IT Paisley is a new, innovative and exciting programme that enables disabled people to have access to computers to develop their skills and interests.  Developed by Leonard Cheshire in partnership with Microsoft UK, the intention is to create a network of Discover IT facilities across the UK and develop a national programme that really makes a difference to the lives of disabled people.

The latest addition to this network of community computer rooms is situated within Reid Kerr College, Paisley.

The Discover IT suite is located within the first floor Atrium of the Renfrew North Building of the Main Campus.  It has the necessary adaptations to make the computers fully accessible to disabled people and helpful advice is on hand when it's needed.

Discover IT can open up the worlds of computing, word processing, email, the web, home shopping and much more to disabled people who are eager to learn but have simply not had the chance to get to grips with computers before.

For further information and arrange access to a computer, please contact either George Smith - 0141-581-2315 or Kenny Hurford - 0141-581-2222 or email gsmith@reidkerr.ac.uk
