Students Jazz It Up!
A group of Dance students at Reid Kerr were treated to a dance workshop delivered by one of the top dancers performing at the smash-hit musical, Chicago. Showing at the Kings Theatre in Glasgow this year, the students were delighted to be taking part in such an exclusive workshop.
Senior Lecturer in Dance Gillian Desjaques said, "This workshop came about through our good links with the Ambassadors company. We were delighted to have such an experienced member of the company come out to our studios. She gave a technique class then taught the students three sections from the show. The students commented that it was the best workshop to date. We followed it up by a trip to see the show itself. A very exciting and inspiring experience."
