New modern specialist facilities and highly qualificed enthusiastic staff assist students of all ages and abilities to achieve their full potential. Qualifications and skills gained promote career prospects or progression to further training and education opportunities.
The Department is approved to offer SVQ's in Care and PDA Awards in Early Education & Childcare and Classroom Assistants. These are offered on a commercial or Local Enterprise Company (LEC) supported basis.
The Department also offers a range of tailored and commercial short courses in areas such as Moving & Handling and Health & Safety Executive (HSE) First Aid. These courses are open to individuals and companies providing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities for employees.
