The creative industries make a significant contribution to the Scottish, UK and international economies and forecasts predict that this will grow on average by 10% per annum.
Our provision caters for students of all ages and backgrounds, many with a broad experience of life and the professions. The Academy offers a number of specialist and vocational courses designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to progress in your chosen field. Whether its Theatre & Drama, Dance, Creative Writing, Music, Photography, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, DJ & Radio Skills or Theatre Production the Academy of Creative Arts has a course to suit.
All the training is provided by highly motivated professionals each an expert in their own field. Each student's learning experience is also enriched by working in a collaborative environment that focuses on individual student development while fully integrating departments across the academy, helping you to see your own discipline in a broader context.
The Academy of Creative Arts has 3 Centres of Vocational Excellence and many of their students produce international award winning work, which is showcased at world renown festivals and venues. This all makes for a dynamic community and productive learning environment.
