AIM
This course is designed for anyone who wants to develop and improve their drawing and painting skills. Develop confidence in handling media and materials, and in the development of creative ideas. On completion of the course, students will have acquired a broad skills base and a thorough understanding of a range of techniques and of the use of drawing and paint based media. Students will also have learned how to instigate and develop creative ideas.

CONTENTS
It provides an introduction to the use of drawing and painting media and materials, the selection and development of subject matter, and to the use of line, tone, colour, proportion, scale and composition.
