NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety & Health*

This course is aimed at providing supervisors and managers within the construction industry with the required knowledge and understanding to ensure that construction activities under their control are taken seriously and safely.  To provide those who are concerned with the management of buildings with the competency to ensure that contractors are working safely.

Course Content:
Construction Law & Management, Construction Activities, Hazard  & Control, Movement of People and Vehicles, Manual & Mechanical Handling, Electrical Hazards, Fire Hazards, Chemical & Biological Hazards, Physical & Psychological Health Hazards, Working at Height, Excavation Work and Demolition Hazards.

Entry Requirements:
Applicants must hold the National General Certificate NGC1.

Part-Time Day or Evening

Duration:
Conversation course 12 weeks day release: Monday (1 day per week), 12 weeks by Part Day Part Evening Delivery.

Day:
Day Release: Monday (1 day per week)
Part Day Part Evening: Tuesday afternoon and evening

Time:
Day: 9.00am - 5.0pm
Part Day Part Evening 2.00pm - 5.00pm and 6.00 - 9.00pm

Progression to:
Fire & Risk Management Certificate, Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, BSc in Occupational Safety & Health
