Web Design Project (Internet Higher)

Aim:
This unit is designed to give the candidate the basic skills to create and upload web pages.
Length of Study:
Approximately 18 weeks.
Entry Requirements:
Students should have basic computing skills before starting this course by Distance Learning.
Contents:
Analysing Design of Existing Web Pages, Using HTML, Using Web Page Editing Software, Creating & Linking Web Pages and Uploading to a Server.
Study Method:
Home or work-based self-study with additional support and advice from personal tutor.
Assessement:
The unit is assessed by written and practical assessments, which can be undertaken at home or workplace.
Comments:
Students will have access to a computer with Internet access and relevant software required for this course.
Cost:
£100 + £12.50 SQA Fees.
