Electrical Networks & Resonance (Higher National Level)

Aim:
To develop knowledge and understanding and apply a range of network theorems to the solution of d.c. and a.c. electrical network problems.  Parallel electronic and electrical resonant ciruits, Q-factor and bandwith.

Length of Study:
18 weeks with tutor support

Entry Requirments:
Candidates SHould have a knowledge and understanding of electical theory including a.c. theory. Possession  of the Higher National  Unit Single Phase AC Circuits.

Contents:
Apply networks theorems to solve electrical network problems. Solve problems involving resonating passive circuits.

Home-based self-study with tutor support for help and advice.
