Course Content
Core:Contribute to the management of pupil behaviour
Establish and maintain relationships with individual pupils and groups
Support pupils during learning activities
Review and develop your own professional practice
Candidates are required to select 6 optional units from a wide selection of other units
Assist in preparing and maintaining the learning environment
Support the maintainence of pupil safety and security
Contribute to health and well being of pupils
Help pupils develop their literacy skills
Help pupils develop their numeracy skills
Support the use of ICT in the classroom

Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirement however candidates require to be employed as a classroom assistant.
