Trade Union Congress (TUC) - Diploma in Employment Law

Aim of Course:
This course will provide guided learning through which the learner may become more effective as a workplace representative, promote an understanding of trade union approach to employment law and deepen & extend the capacities of learners, enabling them to access full-time officer posts or Higher Education opportunities.

Course Content:
This course is principally designed for trade union representatives - the key link between the workplace and the wider union.  It is intended to help learners engage with the development and practice of employment law and to develop attitudes & skills needed for higher level study.

This course is a Diploma course and is accredited by the National Open College Network and is offered on a part time day release basis.
