This Professional Award is aimed at Middle managers with responsibility and authority for meeting organisational goals. 

Course content includes: Developing your Management Style, Recruitment & Selection, Managing Financial and Non-Financial Resources, Planning to meet Customer and Quality Requirements, Effective Communication and Information Management, Managing Performance, Developing Personnel and Personnel Performance, Principles of Project Management.

Entry Requirements:
Chartered Management Institute Certificate in Management or SVQ/NVQ Level 3 Management or relevant experience in a management position.

Study Mode:
Part-time Evening. Various start times in the session.

Progression to:
Chartered Management Institute Executive Diploma in Management.

 DISTANCE LEARNING

Aim:
This Professional award is intended to meet the needs of middle managers wishing to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to develop their career in management. It is equally valuable for the person who aspires to such a role.

Length of Study:
12-15 months.

Entry Requirements:
It is expected that you will already be at Level 3 Certificate in Management, or equivalent standard, to commence this programme. Your management experience at and around this level will also be taken into account.
