CACDP Level 1 Certificate in British Sign Language
This qualification is accredited by the Council for the Advancement of Communication with Deaf People (CACDP) and will give you the basic skills to communicate using BSL.
Learners will study how to communicate using finger spelling and sign language, body language and facial expression. Topics for study will include: asking for and giving personal information, weather, transport, directions, money, hobbies and work or study.
The course is divided into three units and there is one assessment for each unit. Upon successful completion of all three units, learners will receive a CACDP Level 1 BSL certificate.
