British Institute of Innkeeping Awarding Body (BIIAB) Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH)

This qualification has been developed by BIIAB Scotland to meet the statutory requirements of the Licensing Scotland Act 2005 which states that personal licence holders must produce evidence of successful completion of a SQA (regulatory) accredited qualification.

It covers licensing law as defined in the Licensing Scotland Act 2005 such as issues surrounding social responsibility within the licensed retail sector from the perspective of personal license holders.

The course contents includes: Core Provision of the Act, Premises and Personal Licence Applications, Associated law, Alcohol and its Effects, Social Responsibility
