HND Computing Technical Support (2nd Year)*
This is an advanced course, which will develop existing skills in the general field of providing support to computer users. Subjects include: Network Technology, Project Management, Data Communications, Web Server Management, Client and Network Operating Systems, Application User Support, Professional Issues, Microsoft: Troubleshooting, Computer Operating Systems, A Desktop Operating System and Troubleshooting Applications, Graded Project.
DAY RELEASE
Start Date: August 2008
Duration: 3 years on a day release basis. The award can be achieved in less than 3 years if units are taken by Distance Learning or by infilling into a full time class.
Day: Flexible part-time on an infill basis
Time: Variable depending on the subject.
Cost: Dependent on mode of study.
This course is also available on a distance-learning basis and can be started at any time.
