NC Child, Health & Social Care
Course Content:
This course is at Intermediate 2 Level and will cover a range of subjects from Child, Health and Social Care.
Core units studied include: Communication, Numeracy, Information Technology, Psychology for Care, Values & Principles in Care, Guidance.
A range of optional units are also available including: Child Development & Health, Prevention of Infection, Understanding the Needs of the Older Person, Mental Health Issues an Introduction.
Entry Requirements:
Communications 2 or Intermediate 1, Numeracy Intermediate 1. Mature students will be considered with no formal entry requirements.

NC Early Education & Childcare, Preparation for Nursing, NQ/HNC Social Care.
