Aim:
This course aims to help individuals protect themselves and their work colleagues by examining violence in the workplace, it looks at how to take practical steps to prevent or minimise its incidence and impact. It follows a preventative approach to violence utilising awareness and calming techniques without resort to self-defence or personal contact.
The course is suitable as an introduction for people wishing to put in place best practice, it will support candidates preparing for employment in environments which require knowledge about managing conflict but is also suitable for learners who are already in employment and wish to study the programme a part of their own continuous professional development.
Length of Study:
Flexible up to a maximum of 36 weeks tutor support.
