Electronic Fault Finding

Aim:
To understand the concept of electronic fault finding, designing and implementing a fault location strategy, practical understanding of electronic fault finding.

Length of Study:
18 weeks with tutor support.

Entry Requirements:
Candidates have basic electronic construction and testing skills such as reading circuit diagrams, identifying components, simulating, constructing and testing circuits

Contents:
On completion of this unit the candidate should be able to: Explain the techniques of fault diagnosis in electronic circuits and systems. Implement a fault location strategy in an electronic system. Locate faults to component level in digital and analogue circuits.
