Active Electronic Circuits
Aim:
To enable candidates to build on the knowledge of Analogue Electronic Principles. Develop understanding with regard to a specified list of electronic amplifiers, filters and oscillator circuits. Candidates will design a second order filter, perform practical tests on a selection of circuits.
Length of Study:
18 weeks with tutor support.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants should have a good knowledge of electronic devices and amplifiers
Contents:
On completion of this unit the candidate should be able to: Analyse the effects of positive and negative feedback. Analyse the circuits and properties of common Operational Amplifier Circuits. Outline the properties of filters. Outline the operation of electronic oscillator circuits.
