Starting from February 2010, Reid Kerr College in Paisley will be offering accredited courses for individuals interested in working in the Licensed trade. A 4-day course running from 23rd - 26th February 2010 can provide you with the BIIAB's National Certificate for Door Supervisors (Scotland). If you earn under £22,000 or are unemployed, you could be eligible for an ILA voucher and complete this course for only £50. (£250 per person if not eligible for an ILA)
New law stipulates you require a Personal Licence Holder's Certificate to work in a bar or off sales premises. Reid Kerr is delivering courses throughout the year for the ServeWise Certificate for Scottish Personal Licence Holders (SPLH). If you earn under £22,000 or are unemployed, you could be eligible for an ILA voucher and complete this course for FREE. (£90 per person if not eligible for ILA)
Head of Centre for Leisure Industries John Baird said, "The BIIAB course is delivered in conjunction with Ian Crockard of Innpacked Training, who deliver a wide range of Licensed training throughout the UK. Innpacked Training has been working with the College since 2006 and we are delighted to be offering these courses to Licensed trade personal from all over Scotland."
